Toronto High Park FC’s Technical Development Programs are designed for players looking to improve their skills and progress through our competitive/OPDL pathway. These programs include unique and specialized training programs and opportunities instructed by our club’s professional coaches, which focus on physical, technical and tactical training.

HP Academy
Description: This program exposes players to training from the top coaches at the Club. Players will train in a more challenging training environment that includes increased physical, technical, tactical and psychological demands/tasks from the coaches. Participating in the program is a great way to prepare for OPDL but does not guarantee you a spot in the OPDL program.

Best for: U10-U13 Players in THPFC’s Development team programs
Program focus: Players will train in a challenging, high-intensity environment with an increased focus on technical development.

HP Tech Center (U8-U13)
Description: HP Tech Centre provides THPFC development players with an additional, high-quality training opportunity led by experienced THPFC coaches. Designed to support and complement team training, this program places a strong emphasis on technical and tactical development, allowing players to train with peers of a similar level while being challenged in game-realistic scenarios. Sessions are delivered in alignment with the THPFC Game Model, ensuring consistency across all areas of player development.
Best for: U10-U13 Players in THPFC’s Development team programs
Program focus: Building technical abilities, enhancing tactical understanding and boosting overall fitness.

Goalkeeping School (U8-21)
Description: THPFC is excited to offer two goalkeeper-specific training sessions per week, streamlined to ensure that the age of players in each session aligns with the Ontario Soccer Player Pathway. Each session focuses on age-appropriate aspects of the position, building technical skills, tactical understanding and confidence, while also aligning with our THPFC Playing Identity.
Best for: Goalkeepers ages 8-21
Program focus: Building technical skills, tactical understanding and confidence.
