SAQ: Speed, Agility and Quickness

THPFC's Speed, Agility, Quickness (SAQ) program has been created to develop a players overall athletic ability while maintaining relevance to soccer. A players athletic ability and development are imperative to more than just the immediate benefits that may be recognized. Developing efficient and functional movement through a range of activities allows for increased athletic performance, injury prevention in the future as well as less chance of long-term physical ailments.

By participating in our SAQ program, players will learn important movement techniques along with improving their overall physical literacy (fundamental movement skills).  SAQ sessions will emphasize age- and stage-appropriate learning and development for each participant's’ athletic ability. The goal is to solidify a player's fundamental movement skills and build on the foundation created.
